Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the number one killer of women. Nearly 45 percent of women over age 20 have some form of it, yet many don’t realize their risk. CVD in women remains underdiagnosed and undertreated. Elevating awareness, screening, and prevention can save lives and reduce health care costs.
