Former Vice President, Specialty Solutions, CVS Caremark
In this role, Rob O’Brien led a team of pharmacists who provide consultation and strategic guidance to clients on controlling specialty trend, maximizing clinical outcomes and improving the specialty pharmacy experience for their patients. He also led a team of clinicians focused on specialty product develop and clinical innovation for CVS Health’s specialty product portfolio.
Prior to that role, Rob served as vice president of ClinicalAccount Services for the Health Plan Segment and was responsible for managing a team of clinical pharmacists who supported CVS Health’s health plan clients. He also assisted in strategic initiatives that helped support development of formulary strategies, clinical programs and specialty pharmacy solutions, for the segment. Rob is a registered pharmacist and attended The Albany College ofPharmacy, Albany NY.
