Richard Wood, Ph.D. is Lead Director, Clinical & Behavioral Design, Care Management at CVS Health. He has published dozens of peer-reviewed papers in the area of lifestyle treatments for people living with chronic metabolic disease. Having the unique experience of delivering impact in academia, startup, and corporate settings, he is focused on improving the lives of others by translating science into effective clinical program design. He earned a Ph.D. in nutritional sciences from the University of Connecticut, focusing on lipid metabolism. He also holds a masters degree in kinesiology and exercise science and a bachelors degree in athletic training, both from Springfield College.
