Paige Wickner, MD, MPH

Vice President, Enterprise Patient Safety

 

Paige Wickner is Vice President, Enterprise Patient Safety at CVS Health. Wickner’s focus is leading and partnering across CVS Health to continue to deliver safe, high-quality patient care. Her team’s focus is on proactive safety solutions, building structures and innovations to capture and reduce errors and improve patient outcomes. 

Prior to joining CVS Health, Wickner was at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, where she served as head of the Allergy and Immunology Division quality and safety and as medical director in the Department of Quality and Safety with leadership in risk, safety and patient experience. Wickner is also an assistant professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School.

She has led multiple hospital initiatives and innovations focusing on safety, transparency, and improving the patient experience. In addition, she has operationalized and published extensively on quality improvement and safety related to drug allergies, antibiotic stewardship and COVID-19 communication and vaccination. Wickner practices as an allergist and immunologist. 

Wickner graduated from Yale University and earned her medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School. She completed her Internal Medicine residency and Allergy and Immunology fellowship training at Yale New Haven Hospital, and also earned a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University’s Bloomberg School for Public Health.
