Eileen Howard Boone led a team responsible for implementing a wide range of philanthropic and corporate responsibility programs that align with the company’s purpose of helping people on their path to better health. Howard Boone was also the president of the CVS Health Foundation, the private foundation of CVS Health. She oversaw the foundation’s charitable giving and is responsible for creating and managing strategic partnerships with non-profit organizations that share in the Foundation’s commitment to provide access to health care in communities nationwide.
As the Company has grown, Howard Boone had taken on a more focused role in strategic philanthropy and corporate social responsibility. Prior to this, she was senior vice president of Corporate Communications & Community Relations for CVS Caremark.
Howard Boone serves on a number of philanthropic boards including the national board of Easter Seals, Crossroads Rhode Island, and is on the Hasbro Children’s Hospital advisory council. She is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross and received her MBA from Fordham University in marketing and finance.
