Alina Neuberger, MD, MBA

Alina Neuberger, MD, MBA is a Senior Medical Director for Caremark Pharmacy Benefit Management Medical Affairs Division, where her primary focus is enhancing the quality of services provided to millions of its members and patients. She contributes to the overall mission of CVS Health by leading a team of physicians dedicated to Clinical Strategy. The team’s work encompasses formulary strategies, clinical programs development, physician liaison, specialty clinical products, population health and, more recently, the CVS Health enterprise response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Prior to joining CVS Health in 2016, she provided clinical leadership for 16 outpatient centers in the tri-state New York area for a national occupational medicine and urgent care company. Dr. Neuberger is also a primary care physician practicing urgent care in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. After obtaining her doctorate of medicine degree in Romania, she completed her Family Medicine training at Overlook Hospital in Summit, New Jersey. She also holds an MBA in Pharmaceutical Management from Rutgers Business School.
